Process put away, pallet by pallet

The following describes how to process an automatically created put away, pallet by pallet.

Scanning details are defined on the Radio Frequency information panel in Work with warehouses. On this panel you have the possibility to turn on or turn off the scanning of pallet id, item and/or quantity for picking, put away, replenishment and counting. For example, if item scanning is turned off for picking, then you only need to scan the location and quantity. The item is always defaulted according to the suggested pick instruction.

Prerequisites
Auto put away in Work with warehouse locations must be set to YES for the location.

  1. Select the Select R/F activity menu item.
  2. On the main panel, you can:
    • Click Allocate resource to allocate the resource that the handler should use during processing, if not defined.
    • Click Release resource to make an allocated resource available for all R/F operators to select.

    Here, select the Put away activity.

  3. You access Select R/F batch – put away. Click Create batch to automatically create a put away by pick instruction. You create an unassigned R/F batch and assign it to the active handler.
  4. You access Create put away by pick. The program enables you to first pick multiple pallets and then retrieve the correct put away instruction. The following field applies:
  5. Pallet/PA
    Scan/Enter the pallet number or the serialized put away number that should be used to retrieve the correct put away from bulk suggestion.

    Click OK and then, click the Put away function. Note: Multiple pallets and/or serialized put away labels can be scanned, and the put away will be done according the FOFO (first on, first off) principle.

  6. You access the Process R/F instruction panel where you enter the following information:

    Enter the location in which you will put the pallet.

    All other information is defaulted according to the R/F instruction. Exit the routine.
