Setting up the WMS (Warehouse Management System) integration

These Iptor WM1-related transaction types and their corresponding segments for sent and received transactions are pre-loaded during the installation/setup, and are used for logging sent/received transactions in Work with WMS transactions.

Options

Segment

Select this option to access the segments for the transaction types.

Selection fields

Transaction type: This column lists the Iptor.com transaction type.

Description: This column lists the Iptor.com description of the transaction type.

Active: This column denotes if the transaction type has been activated.

Work with Iptor WM1 transaction types (WMSD10004)

This panel displays the transaction type details.

Transaction type: Enter the Iptor.com transaction type identity.

Description: Enter the Iptor.com description for the transaction type.

Direction

Enter the panel value code denoting the direction of communication for the transaction type.

Permitted codes:

Code	Description
R	Receive
S	Send

Routine ID: Enter the ID for the data queue routine in which the transaction type should be handled.

Transaction program: Enter the transaction program name in which the transaction type will be handled.

Document: Displays the connection to the DI document for the transaction type. The WMS DI Documents are only used for documentation, describing the interface files and their layout.

Active: Set this field to YES to activate this transaction type.

Trans type: Displays the transaction type(s) you selected to copy.

New trans: Enter a code to identify the new transaction type you are creating.

Work with Iptor WM1 transaction types, Deletion (WMSD10008)

This panel displays the segments for the transaction types.

This panel displays the segment information for the transaction types.

Transaction type: Displays the Iptor.com transaction type and description.

Segment: Enter the Iptor.com segment ID for the transaction type.

Description: Enter the Iptor.com description for the segment ID.

External event: Only displayed for “Received” transaction types. Enter the Iptor WM1 external event (segment ID).

External description: Only displayed for “Received” transaction types. Enter the Iptor WM1 description for the external event (segment ID).

Work with Iptor WM1 transaction types, Segment, Copy (WMSD10015)

Segment: Displays the segment(s) you selected to copy.

New segment: Enter a code to identify the new segment you are creating.

Ext event: Only displayed for “Received” transaction types. Displays the Iptor WM1 external event (segment ID).

New ext event: Only displayed for “Received” transaction types. Enter a code to identify the Iptor WM1 external event (segment ID) for the new segment you are creating.
