- Select the Work with service orders menu item.
- You access Work with service orders, Header view. Select the order you want to hold and click Hold reasons.
- You access Work with held service orders, All reasons. (If the order is or has been held before, the subheading of the panel is Held reasons, and the panel displays all reason codes). Click Add.
- You access Work with held service orders, Reasons. Complete the following fields:
- Reason code
- Enter a user-defined code from the Order held reason code table, indicating the reason of the order being held.
- Release handler
- Enter a code from the Signature table, indicating the release handler of the order.
Click OK to update. The complete order is now being held from further processing. Exit the routine.
