To change the allotted time that an engineer has been assigned for a particular job, do as follows:
- Select the Work with service planning menu item.
- On the initial panel, highlight the assigned engineer and click Engineer calender.
- You access Work with engineer calendar, Select date. Mark the applicable date and click Select.
- You access Work with engineer calendar displaying a list of times for the selected date and engineer.
- Click Delete to delete hours.
- Click Change to change a selected hour value. On the Work with engineer calendar, Detail panel enter the new hours in the New hours field and click OK to confirm. Note: When you manually change or delete calendar events, the assigned hours are automatically changed for the service order job. If you want to book a calendar event for something other than a service order job, e.g., meetings or own time, enter a service item that is type Time only, to the Item field. These events are shown as 9999999 on the panel.
- Select a non-assigned hour value and click Change to assign another job to the selected date and engineer. Note: If you select a service order/job combination on the Work with service planning panel and click Engineer calendar, you can also assign an engineer to a job from this panel. Click Add engineer to assign a new engineer for a selected time. On the Work with engineer calendar, Detail panel complete the prompted field and click OK to confirm.
