When the object is created, measurement types are assigned to the object from the service information in the Item file. When a new reading is updated in the Service order job close or Service object maintenance routines, the previous one is saved in the Measurement history file.
To manually maintain reporting and invoicing information and make available history controls and calculations for a service object do as follows:
- Select the Work with service objects menu item.
- On the initial panel, select the object for which you want to maintain measurement history details and click Meas hist.
- You access Work with service objects, Work with measurement history. Select the applicable measurement type and click Change.
- You access the detail panel displaying the measurement history details for the selected service object. You can only maintain the reporting and invoicing information. The information is only for informational purposes and is not validated by the system.
- Reported by customer
- Indicate if the measurement was reported by the customer.
- Invoiced
- Indicate if the service order that includes this measurement has been invoiced.
- Invoiced date
- Mandatory entry if the Invoiced field was set to YES. Enter the date when the service order was invoiced.
