Note: If the element status is at 60 (completed), you can report additional material issue or adjust the material issue by reporting a negative quantity (negative issue). If the status is 60 before adjustments are made (negative issue), the status can be re-opened (status 40) after the adjustment if the Complete field is set to NO and the issued quantity is less than the planned quantity.
To report material issue for a project do as follows:
- Select the Report project transactions menu item.
- You access Transaction reporting. Complete the following fields:
- Project number
- Enter the project or quotation number for the transaction reporting.
- Phase number
- Enter the number of the phase being reported.
- Material issue
- Set to YES to report material issue.
- Transaction date
- Enter the transaction date in the reporting. The default is today’s date.
- You access Project material issue listing all planned item lines for the selected project and phase. Select the project item line for which you want to report material issue and click Select. Note: Item lines that are connected to orders (acquisitions) are not displayed. These lines will be reported automatically through the manufacturing order reception function or the purchase order reception.
- On the Project material issue detail panel, complete the following fields:
- Issue quant
- Enter the issued quantity to be reported for the project item line. Note: If the Complete field is set to YES, you can only enter a negative quantity to report correction or return of material.
- Complete
- Indicate if the reporting to this line is complete. Note: If this field is set to YES, the status of the item line will be set to 60 (completed).
- Invoice
- Indicate if the transaction should be invoiced.
- Reason code
- This field is only relevant if a negative quantity has been entered in Issue quant. Enter a code from the Non-conformity reason code table. This information is stored in the Inventory transaction file.
Click OK.
Click OK. Exit the routine.
