Create a purchase suggestion manually (Inventory Control)

Select the Work with purchase suggestions menu item.
On the main panel, click Add.
You access Work with purchase suggestions, Header. Complete the following fields:

Suggestion number: Enter a number manually or leave this field blank, the system will automatically retrieve the next available number from Work with number series.

Save suggestion: Indicate if the purchase suggestion should be deleted when you reorganise the Purchase suggestion file.

Click OK. Exit the routine.

You can now maintain the purchase suggestion. You have the following maintenance options:

You can change, add or delete suggestion lines.
You can merge them into one master purchase suggestion if several purchase suggestions are to be supplied from the same supplier. When it comes time to create purchase orders, only one purchase order will be created for the merged suggestions.
You can change the sequence of the line numbers. They will be re-sequenced according to item/warehouse combination, purchase type and line code.
You can recalculate the purchase suggestion values so that recent changes are reflected in the suggestion line.
You can transfer the purchase suggestion to another purchase suggestion or to an internal replenishment suggestion. See About transferring replenishment suggestions (Inventory Control) for more information.
You can review and confirm the suggestion line. See Review and confirm a suggestion line (Inventory Control) for more information.
You can access the purchase suggestion simulation. This function is described in the Purchase suggestion simulation section.
You can access the purchase cost simulation. This function is described in the Purchase cost simulation section.
