Define account replacement

Prerequisites
The account you want to replace must exist in the Account file.

  1. Select the Work with chart of accounts menu item.
  2. On the main panel, select the account that you intend to replace and click Change.
  3. You access the first detail panel. Click Next. Note: If replacing anything but main account, this panel will show an additional three fields as described in step 4 where you enter account information details.
  4. You access the second Work with chart of accounts detail panel with the replacement fields. Note: This panel is only shown for main entry accounts (for other account parts the account replacements are defined in the first detail panel, see step 3). Complete the following fields:
  5. To account number
    Enter the number of the account your selected account number should be replaced with. The account number that you enter here must exist in the Account file.
    Start date
    Enter the date from which the change should be valid.
    End date
    Enter the date to which the change should be valid.

    Click OK. Exit the routine.
