The following describes how to correct an automatically created batch for which the batch header information that was imported from the interface is incorrect, e.g. the accounting period is wrong. Error code E (Header error) indicates that the batch header information is in error. The batch header and all other errors must be corrected before the batch can be updated.
- Select the Work with open batches menu item.
- On the main panel, the open batch error codes are displayed in column Er. To correct the batch header related errors, select the applicable batch and click Change.
- You access Work with batches, Batch header. Click OK to highlight the errors in the batch header. Enter the correct values and click OK.
- You access Work with open batches again. To check whether the batch contains any other errors, select the batch and click Load to start the loading process. If an error exists, then the error code is shown and erroneous data must be corrected in order to update the batch. If there are no errors, then the batch can be updated. See Update an automatically created batch for more information. Exit the routine.
