Sundry debtor
A sundry debtor number is used for customers you rarely do business with and therefore do not need to have a separate number in the Business partner file. All sundry debtors can share the sundry number, and the system will prompt you to enter name and address information at invoice entry time.
Prerequisites
Use a debtor number with Sundry number set to YES in the Business partner file.
- Enter an A/R payment manually. See Enter a payment and settle it manually. When entering the payment, complete the following field:
- Debtor number
- Enter a sundry debtor number.
- You access the A/R payment. To change the sundry debtor information, click Fnc list and select Sundry debtor info.
- You access A/R payment entry, Sundry debtor information. The system initializes some of the field values based on the values defined for the active template. The active template name is shown in the panel heading. See About working with templates in the Open batch environment for more information. Complete the applicable fields and click OK. Exit the routine.
After entering the payment successfully, select the payment on Work with transactions in voucher and click Change.
