Transfer purchase suggestion lines (Stock Replenishment)

The following describes how to transfer purchase suggestion lines to either another purchase suggestion or to an internal replenishment suggestion. (See About working with internal replenishment suggestions (Stock Control) for more information about the latter).

  1. Select the Work with purchase suggestions menu item.
  2. On the initial panel, select the purchase suggestion that contains the lines that you want to maintain and click Lines.
  3. You access Work with purchase suggestion, Lines. Tip: Click Shift into to view additional purchase suggestion line information. You have the following options:
    • You can select the applicable lines and click Transfer.
    • You can select lines by entering values in the selection fields at the bottom of the panel and click OK. The system displays the selected lines. Highlight the applicable lines and then click Transfer.

    Choose one of the two options described above.

  4. You access the Work with purchase suggestions, Transfer panel. Click OK to confirm the transfer of the selected records to either another purchase suggestion or to an internal replenishment suggestion.
  5. You access IRS/PS transfer selection, where you decide where to transfer the purchase suggestion lines. Two options are available:
    • You can transfer the lines you have selected to an internal replenishment suggestion (IRS) by entering a supplying warehouse. The system creates a new IRS which you can maintain in the IRS maintenance routine. See About working with internal replenishment suggestions (Stock Control) for more information.
    • You can create a new purchase suggestion for the lines you have selected by entering a new supplier.

    Click OK to update. Click OK again to reconfirm the transaction.

  6. The same panel will be displayed. At the bottom of the panel a message will appear indicating the number of the internal replenishment suggestion that contains the information that was transferred.
