Add a destination to a scheduled departure

A scheduled departure can have several destinations. These are usually the cities, towns or areas that your customers are located in.

  1. Select the Work with route list menu item.
  2. On the main panel, select the applicable departure and click Destinations.
  3. You access Work with route list, Destinations. All of your existing destinations for the route to which the selected departure belongs are listed on this panel. They are listed in the order in which the driver will navigate the route.
  4. Click Add.

  5. You access the detail panel. There are only two input fields on this panel:
  6. Sequence
    Enter a unique sequence number. The lowest number denotes the first stop that will be made along the route. The highest value identifies the last delivery that will be made.
    Destination
    Enter a value from Work with destinations to indicate the destination of the selected departure.

    Click OK to save your new destination. Exit the routine.

    What to do next
    You can change the order of the stops that your driver will make along the route. Or, you can assign the shipment that will be delivered. (For instructions, see Change the order in which deliveries are made to customers along the route and Manually assign a shipment to a scheduled departure.)
