Only applicable if Radio Frequency is installed and activated. - Create a put away from bulk suggestion
In this program a location can be emptied (for example a receiving location) and distributed in the warehouse. The put away function will suggest the best location, based on the put away rules, to place the goods. Note: If the applicable Cross docking information has been completed, (i.e., Cross docking is YES on item/warehouse level and Cross dock location and Cross docking days are YES on item/warehouse level or warehouse level), then a cross docking location could also be suggested – if the following is true:

In the fields below, enter the parameters from which the put away from bulk suggestion should be created.
- Warehouse
- Enter a warehouse code.
- Zone/location
- Enter a zone in the first input field and a location in the second input field. This location must be defined as a bulk location. The zone/location may not be a transit location.
- Item
- Enter an item if the put away suggestion should be limited to one item.
- Batch
- Enter a batch.
- Quantity
- Enter the quantity you want to put away from bulk, if suggestion should be limited to a certain quantity.
- Put away unit
- If you have specified an item on this panel, enter the put away unit for the item to find the best suitable location to store it. This unit will override the default put away unit defined on the Warehouse management panel in the Item file. The system will suggest different zones and/or locations within the warehouse depending on the different units of the item. Only locations that have a location type with the entered put away unit will be considered. If this unit is used together with the item, then the put away is only done for full units into the corresponding unit locations. This makes it possible to put away multiple units into the warehouse.
- On hold
- Indicate if the goods to be put away are held due to Quality control or Awaiting cost.
- Order reference
- Mandatory entry if the On hold field is set to YES and the Quantity field is completed. Enter the order reference, i.e., the purchase order. On the first line enter the Order number, and on the second, enter the line number.
- R/F batch template
- Only shown if Radio Frequency is installed and activated in the company in which you are working. Enter a code from Work with R/F batch creation templates indicating the template to be used for the automatic batching of the created put away from bulk suggestion.
If this field is completed, then the automatic R/F batch creation will start when the put away from bulk suggestion is created. The batches will be created according to the batch rules connected to the selected template. The suggestion codes, order restrictions, selection criteria and size tolerance values defined in Work with batch rules control the creation of the batches. If a resource group is defined in the batch rule, the R/F batches will be assigned to that resource group automatically. See About working with automatic batch creation for more information.
Reports
In the field below, indicate how the put away lines should break on the printout.
- Zone put away
- Indicate how the put away report lines should break on the put away printout. If set to NO, then the sequence of put away list lines will be by Put away sequence/Suggested location ID (to). If set to YES, then the sequence of put away list lines (to) will be by Warehouse zone/Put away sequence/Suggested location ID (to). The page break will always be after each zone and the valid printer is retrieved for the zone (defined in Work with warehouse zones).
Note: When zone put away is selected, the cover page will be printed according to the printer selected on the selection panel.
