Work with day balance calc rules, Details (TME040A)

Related topics

This panel displays the calculation steps of the selected day balance calculation rule. Day balance calculation rules are used in the time calculation process.

Options

Calc rule

Seq
Always
Indicates if the calculation always should be performed. If NO, the calculation will only be performed if a day balance exists for the wage type that is specified in Source.
Source
The code from Work with wage types indicates the wage type, or the wage type attribute, that is the source of the calculation. During the calculation, the system compares the day balance that is reported for this wage type/attribute to the value in Limit.
Op
The operator indicates how the day balance is compared to the value in Limit. The following codes are valid:
Limit

Note: The Upd s and Upd r fields define if and how any differences between the day balance and the time limit should affect the calculated values for the source and result wage types.

Upd s

Result

Note: The Upd r field defines how the result wage type should be updated.

Upd r

Note: The value that is calculated will be multiplied or divided with the Factor in order to get the value with which the result wage type will be updated.

Value
The fixed value to be used in the update of the result wage type if Upd r is set to 1 (Fixed value).
D/M
The code indicates if the value that is calculated in the Upd r field should be multiplied or divided by the Factor when the result is calculated. The following codes are valid:

Code Description
1 Divide
2 Multiply
Factor
Displays the factor that is used in the time calculation. The D/M field indicates if the value that is calculated in the Upd r field should be multiplied with or divided by this factor when the result is calculated.
A/R
Indicates if the result is to be added to or if it should replace the previous value of the result wage type.
