Journal entry printout (ITFD50001)

On this panel you order a printout of journal entries. The printout can be performed in simulation mode or definitive mode. See About journal entry printout (Italy) for further information.

Prerequisites
Activate the Italian journal selection (IT-BTRSEL) function in the Function control file to have the possibility of selecting a routine ID when retrieving transactions from the Accounting file for printouts. If this function is inactivated, then all routine ID’s are selected.

Selection

Printout mode
Indicate the printout mode. Valid values are:

Value Description Additional info
P Simulation The printout will not update the page number, line number nor the period. The printout will always begin with page one.
D Definitive The printout will be definitive, and the last page number used, the line number and the period will be updated.
R Re-print Re-print a period that has already been printed in definitive mode.
From/to accounting per
In the first field, the system displays the last accounting period printed in definitive mode, but can be changed. In the second field, enter the accounting period (in YYYYMM format) up until which you want to include journal entries in the printout.
From/to date
These fields are used to select on voucher dates. The system displays the from and to dates (in DDMMYY format) for the printout corresponding to the periods in From/to accounting per, but can be changed.
Print details
Indicate if you want to include more details in the printout.
Print heading
Indicate if you want to print heading information, i.e. company information, etc.
Text
Enter notes for the printout.
Year/Page number
These fields are used if you want to re-print an accounting period which has been printed in definitive mode. Enter the year and the first page number (e.g. 2013/1) of the period you want to re-print.

The fields are also used when a company is about to “go live” with a new software system during the year, meaning that parts of the journal entries should be printed in the “old” system and the remaining parts in the new system. In this case, enter the year and the page number from where to start the printing in the new system.
