The following steps will take you through the different levels of an existing on-line report. There are 4 sub-levels and also a detail level that displays the sequences and selections defined when the template was created.

  1. Select the Work with A/R – A/P analysis reports menu item.
  2. On the main panel, select the applicable report and click Next level.
  3. You access Work with A/R – A/P analysis reports, Total level. In the top part of the panel you will see the Total field indicating the Grand total. The Grand total is the sum of the viewed lines, A/R and A/P total, at the bottom part of the panel.
  4. Select the applicable line and click Next level.

    Tip: When working with this on-line report through the different levels, click Shift currency to toggle between showing the amounts on the different panels in either system or reporting currency. This function key is only displayed if Reporting currency is set to YES on the specifications panel.

    Tip: (Only applicable if running the 5250 environment.) Click Left or Right on the different panels to toggle between the date columns. They are moved to the left and the right respectively. If running the Iptor.com user interface environment, all available columns can be displayed via the Edit columns feature.

  5. You access Work with A/R – A/P analysis reports, Sub-total level 1. This panel displays your report on sub-total level 1, i.e., the total amount for the first sequence that you have selected on the sequence selection panel.
  6. In the top part of the panel you will see the Total field indicating A/R or A/P total. The A/R or A/P total is the sum of the viewed lines, Sub-totals 1, at the bottom part of the panel.

    Select the line you want to view the next level for and click Next level.

  7. You access Work with A/R – A/P analysis reports, Sub-total level 2. This panel displays your report on sub-total level 2, i.e., the total amount for the second sequence that you have selected on the sequence selection panel.
  8. In the top part of the panel you will see the Sub-total 1, XXX=selected line field. The sub-total is the sum of the viewed lines, Sub-totals 2, at the bottom part of the panel.

    Select the line you want to view the next level for and click Next level.

    Tip: Click Header to change the header information on this and the following sub-level panels. This function key will display your selected sequence levels and show the selected sequences in number order.

  9. You access Work with A/R – A/P analysis reports, Sub-total level 3. This panel displays your report on sub-total level 3, i.e., the total amount for the third sequence that you have selected on the sequence selection panel.
  10. In the top part of the panel you will see the Sub-total 2, XXX=selected line field. The sub-total is the sum of the viewed lines, Sub-totals 3, at the bottom part of the panel.

    Select the line you want to view the next level for and click Next level.

  11. You access Work with A/R – A/P analysis reports, Sub-total level 4. This panel displays your report on sub-total level 4, i.e. the total amount for the fourth sequence that you have selected on the sequence selection panel. This is the fourth and last level of the report. From this panel you can only view details for the report, i.e. option Details.
  12. In the top part of the panel you will see the Sub-total 3, XXX=selected line field. The sub-total is the sum of the viewed lines, Sub-totals 4, at the bottom part of the panel.

    Select the line you want to view details for and click Details.

  13. You access Work with A/R – A/P analysis reports, Detail level. This panel displays your report on detail level and you can reach this panel from all levels if you have set the Details field to YES on the specifications panel.
  14. In the top part of the panel you will see either the Grand total, A/R or A/P total or one of the sub-total levels. The total is the sum of the viewed lines at the bottom part of the panel.

    Select the line you want to view document details for.

  15. You access A/P transactions and balance enquiry, Details. The panel displays the document details in the A/P transactions and balance enquiry.
  16. Exit the routine.
