If alternative products have been defined for the item or the manufacturing order, this field displays the sum of the Item planned quant and the alternative products.

For example:
If the planned item quantity, i.e. the order quantity that was originally entered when the manufacturing order was created, is 10 and 1 alternative product is defined for the item/order, the order quantity will be 11. Note: The quantity cannot be changed if the order status is 40-60. If the order is linked to a sales order, the quantity can only be changed if the status is lower than 40 and if the new quantity is higher than the original.
