Connect the catalogues

When all your catalogues are built, you then connect them to a setting type. This can be done on the following levels:

As previously mentioned, there are two preloaded Setting types for catalogues, as well as two preloaded catalogues:

  • MainCatalogue is the setting type used for displaying a catalogue in the left-hand navigator. MAIN_CAT is the preloaded catalogue that is connected to this setting type on Application level.
  • HomeCatalogue is the setting type used for displaying a catalogue in the Start page. HOME_CAT is the preloaded catalogue that is connected to this setting type on Application level.

If you want a different catalogue to appear in the left-hand navigator and on the start page when a user signs on to NetStore, then you would connect the applicable catalogues to the settings under User group and/or User.

  3. Click the icon for the MainCatalogue and HomeCatalogue settings.
  4. Enter the applicable value in the Value field (i.e. the Catalogue name).

Connect a catalogue to a User Group and/or User

The procedure is the same for User Group and User. The only difference is the access in.

  1. Click User Group or User.
  2. Click the icon for the applicable User group or User.
  3. Click the Settings button.

  5. Select the applicable preloaded setting type for catalogues (i.e. MainCatalogue or HomeCatalogue). Click OK.
