You use this function to report if the quality of the finished product is conforming to the defined criteria. If the finished product does not conform to the quality criteria, you will access the NCC reporting routine.
The quality control reporting panel will be displayed in the following cases:
- If you report an NCC quantity in the reception routine.
- If you report quantities in the reception routine and there are quality control triggers defined in the item structure. See QC triggers for more information.
- If you report quantities in the reception routine and Force QC at rec on the manufacturing order header is set to YES. See Forcing QC for more information.
- Select the Issue/receive manufacturing order menu item.
- You access Inventory transaction selection – Manufacturing order. Select a manufacturing order and click Reception.
- You access Manufacturing order reception. Complete the reporting fields and click OK.
- You access Conformity criteria reporting – Manufacturing order reception. Complete the following fields:
- Value
- Depending on the set-up of the conformity criteria that are connected to the item in question, several scenarios may apply to this field:
- Only pre-defined values: You can only report values that have been pre-defined. These are either defined as conforming or non-conforming.
- Pre-defined and additional values: You can report pre-defined values or insert new lines with additional values that you want to report. Values that are not pre-defined will be regarded as non-conforming.
- Range of values: If you report values inside the specified range, these will be regarded as conforming. Reported values outside of the range will be regarded as non-conforming.
- Values from plug-in program: If a plug-in program is defined for the criterion, this field displays the conformity values that are generated by the plug-in program. The quantity that is reported will be defaulted for this line.

- Quantity
- Enter the number of items that correspond to the criterion value.
- If you have reported conforming values you will return to the Manufacturing order reception panel.
- If you have reported non-conforming values you will access the Non-conformity certificate entry panel. See About NCC reporting for end products of manufacturing orders for more information.
Click OK. Depending on if you have reported conforming or non-conforming values, you will access different panels:
