A sales order where complete delivery is required means that the quantities on all sales order lines must be available for dispatch before the order can be dispatched to the customer. Note: The Y/N code has no influence during sales order entry but rather during pick list print. If a complete order shipment is required, the order will not be suggested for picking and no pick list is printed unless the whole order can be fully delivered. See Print a pick list for more information.
You define if you want a complete delivery in the Business partner file, Customer file panel.
During Sales order entry, the Y/N code will default into the sales order header, but you can change it.
This complete order delivery function has an impact on the following routines:
- Confirm pick list: If you try to confirm a partial delivery, (i.e. confirm an incomplete delivery of any line), for an order that indicates a complete delivery, a warning is displayed to the user.
- Re-plan sales orders: You can re-plan sales orders with complete delivery (i.e. change dispatch date to the latest dispatch date of any line when complete delivery on order level is required).
