Report packaging of shipment lines

The package reporting function is used for registering all of the materials that are used to pack and transport the goods from the moment they are picked to the time they are delivered.

Note: The order line status must be above 30 before package reporting can be performed.

  1. Select the Work with outbound shipments menu item.
  2. On the header panel, select the shipment for which you want to report a package and click Pack reporting.
  3. You access Work with package reporting, Delivery address. All the customers that will be receiving goods from this shipment are listed on this panel. Select the applicable delivery address.
  4. You access Work with package reporting, Packages. On this panel you have the following options:
    • Click Add to manually add package information to the header.
    • Click Pack by item/unit to specify if the goods will be packed by item/unit. The system automatically retrieves the correct package numbers.
    • Click Confirm to confirm the package line(s).

    Here we assume that all necessary package information is retrieved. Click Confirm to confirm the package line(s).

  5. You remain on the same panel. The Conf column is set to YES denoting that the package line has been confirmed. For more information, see the Panel help.
  6. Select the confirmed package line and click Print to print labels and specifications for the package.

  7. On Work with package reporting, Package printout you define if and how specifications and labels are to be printed. Click OK.

    The package has been reported and labels and specifications have been printed. Exit the routine.
