Assign pick consolidation numbers

The following describes how to create a consolidated pick list. By following these instructions you will also learn how to select the order lines that will be added to your consolidated pick list.

Prerequisites
Only those order types that are allowed for inclusion on a consolidated pick list can be assigned a pick consolidation number. These order types have Pick consolidation set to YES in the Sales order type table.

Note: A sales order line can only be included in one pick consolidation and the status of an order line must be 20 (Ready for pick list print). See About sales order entry for a description of sales order statuses.

  1. Select the Assign pick consolidation numbers menu item.
  2. You access Pick consolidation number assignment displaying the different selection criteria that you can use to group together the sales order lines that you want to include in your pick list consolidation.
    3. Warehouse
    Mandatory entry. Enter the warehouse code. Sales order lines are first grouped under the warehouse code. Pick lists and pick consolidations can only be generated per warehouse.

    By entering search information in the other available fields you can narrow down the sales order lines that are added to your pick list consolidation.

    Route
    In this field you enter one, several or a range of route codes. The system will only select the sales orders that have a matching route code in the sales order delivery address. The sales orders that are selected will be added to the pick list consolidation.
    Departure
    In this field you enter one, several or a range of departure codes. The system will only select the sales orders that have a matching departure code in the sales order delivery address. The sales orders that are selected will be added to the pick list consolidation.
    Item shipment group
    Shipping agent
    Item shipm group
    Customer
    Order number
    Dispatch date
    Country
    The country that the goods will be delivered to (defined in the Delivery address).

    Caution: You can make any combination of selections on this panel but be aware that the system combines all selections. In addition, an order line is only included in the consolidation if it fulfils all selection criteria.

    Press F2 to process your search and create the pick list consolidation interactively or click OK to process it in batch.
