The transactions described are created when you run the Work with stock take program and select the Close and update option for a stock take list.

Description
If there is a difference during the stock take, the stock value is changed accordingly (901) and the difference is accounted on account(s) (912/913) to show how much is adjusted in this routine. If the quantity has increased, the transaction type 912 is used. If the quantity has decreased, the transaction type 913 is used. If you want to account the net change to one account, account 912 and 913 alike.
Note: You cannot enter fictitious items in the Stock take routine.
