With separate cost handling:
If the system uses separate cost handling for the transit stock (defined in the DIS control file) and Cost per warehouse is active, the cost is retrieved from the following fields in the Item file or Item/warehouse file. If the cost type is:

  • Standard cost, the cost price is retrieved from the Standard cost field
  • Average purchase cost, the cost price is retrieved from the Average cost field
  • FIFO, the Item or Item/Warehouse file is not used. Instead you have to enter from which purchase order the cost should be retrieved, i.e. the value is retrieved from the Purchase order file.

No separate cost handling:
If the system does not use separate cost handling for the transit stock (defined in the DIS control file), the cost is retrieved from the following fields in the Item file or Item/warehouse file if Cost per warehouse is active.
