When you create an internal replenishment order (IRO) from an internal replenishment suggestion (IRS) it can be done in different steps, all depending on your own set-up and the selections you are about to make. The first step allows you to select which Internal replenishment suggestions to include in this creation of IRO’s, and whether or not it shall be an interactive creation.
- Select the Create internal replenishment orders menu item.
- You access Internal replenishment order creation. You can choose from the following selections:
- Creation date
- Date when the Internal replenishment suggestion was created.
- IR suggestion number
- Here you enter one or a range of Internal replenishment suggestions that you want to include.
- From warehouse
- If from warehouse is entered, the system only selects the IRS with this warehouse as sending warehouse.
- To warehouse
- If to warehouse is entered, the system only selects the IRS with this warehouse as receiving warehouse.
- Handler
- If entered, this system selects the Internal replenishment suggestions belonging to this handler.
- Create IRO
- Indicate if you want to create the IRO directly. (Note: If you set this field to YES, you bypass the next two steps (steps 3 and 4), which explains the retrieval and creation of the IRO’s from a batch file).
- Calculate del time
- Indicate if the dispatch time should be calculated if the quantity is not available for the specified dispatch time. This field is used for items under time axis control. If you set this field to YES, the dispatch time will be changed to the first possible date of delivery.
- Override ordertype
- Enter an order type if you want it to override the default IRO order type in the Customer file. This can be used in combination with, e.g., the IR suggestion number field above, where it will give the possibility to create IRO sales orders on certain order types.
- If you did not choose to create the IRO directly, select the Retrieve SO for IRO creation menu item.
- You access Sales order retrieval for IRO creation. Complete the following selection fields as desired to retrieve and create internal replenishment orders from a batch file. (Note: Checks are performed during the creation process. If there are any errors, the order itself will be created but you must correct the error to be able to continue processing. Tip: After creation, you can toggle Orders not in error and Orders in error from the Header view panel).
- Creation date
- Date when the Internal replenishment suggestions were created.
- From warehouse
- If from warehouse is entered, the system selects only those sales orders with this warehouse as sending warehouse.
- To warehouse
- If to warehouse is entered, the system selects only those sales orders with this warehouse as receiving warehouse.
- Calculate disp date
- Indicate if the dispatch time should be calculated if the quantity is not available for the specified dispatch time. This field is used for items under time axis control. If you set this field to YES, the dispatch time will be changed to the first possible date of delivery.
- Handler
- Enter a code from the Signature table identifying the employee responsible for this transaction. If a value is not entered, the handler defined in the DI database is retrieved. If a handler was not defined in that file, then the handler assigned to your customer in the Business partner file is retrieved.
- Order type
- Enter a code from Work with sales order types. If you do not enter an order type, then the system will retrieve it from the DI database. If a value was not defined there, then your customer’s default sales order type will be retrieved from the Business partner file.
- Dispatch date
- Indicate when the item(s) should be dispatched.
- Select the Create IRO purchase order menu item.
- You access IRO purchase order creation. Complete the following selection fields as desired:
- Handler
- The handler for the sales orders that you want to select.
- Customer number
- The customer number representing the receiving warehouse.
- Supplier number
- The supplier number representing the sending warehouse.
- Order number
- The sales order number.
- Order type
- The sales order type.
