- You return to the initial panel. A sales promotion is now created, but you need to define the key details for the Item related key you selected, which in this example is Item group. In Create a sales pricing method from a sales promotion you will use the item related key to connect the items in the Item group to prices and discounts. Select the sales promotion you created and click Key values.
- You access Work with sales promotions, Key values, Selection. Highlight the Item related key you selected for the sales promotion and click Key values.

- Item
- Since you have selected Item as your Item related key, this field is displayed on the panel. Enter the item group you wish to connect to the sales promotion. All items that belong to this group are then applicable as search criteria for the prices, discounts, etc., that are defined for the sales promotion. The price and discount defined for the sales promotion only apply to the entered key and to what matches the criteria when sales orders or quotations are entered. Note: You may enter several key values if they too should match the criteria for the sales promotion.
Click OK to update and exit the routine.
The following fields are optional, but by selecting at least one or more pricing keys, a selection criteria is created. You define the values for the keys that you choose here on detail level. The price or discount would only be applied if the values on a sales order/quotation match the criteria. The keys are the defining parameters of the sales promotion:
