The purpose of this program is to display values that are related to the product costing calculation concerning quantities and costs. On this panel you can also maintain values. A base structure can be used and then modified according to existing components and the added new components.
Note: If a structure has been modified you can only save it as a simulation product costing.
- Item
- Calc date
- The date used for when the right prices and overhead were retrieved.
- Cost model
- The cost model id used for product costing.
- It cost type
- The item cost type indicates from where the component prices have been retrieved during the product costing calculation.
Code Description 1 Average cost 2 Standard cost 3 FIFO 4 Simulation cost
- Std quant PC
- The quantity in stock unit that the product costing is based on.
- Struct quant
- Variant
- Warehouse
- Struct unit
- Seq no
- Component
- The item that is included as a component in the bill of material.
- Variant
- Comp unit
- Displays/Enter the unit for the component, that is, either component unit or stock unit. Note: You can enter the unit in this field only in Add mode. In Change and Display mode, this field is read-only.
- Quantity
- The quantity in stock unit, in up to 3 decimals, of components included in the bill of material. The quantity field can be both positive and negative, if negative; the material is handled as a by-product in the system.
- Std quant PC
- The quantity in stock unit that the product costing should be based on. Note: This quantity is only valid to set for items with item type 1 or 2.
- Set-up quantity
- Optional entry. Enter the fixed set-up quantity for materials. This set-up quantity can be deemed as an estimated reservation that you plan on consuming for the machine set-up before real production, and is independent of the order’s quantity. When manufacturing orders are entered, the components required quantity is calculated as follows: order quantity x component quantity + fixed set-up quantity.
Example:
Fixed set-up quantity = 10
Order quantity = 5
Component quantity = 1
Component required quantity = 15
- Waste pct
- The percentage indicates how many extra items must be produced due to production waste. The value is used to re-calculate the structure amounts during the reservation and picking for the manufacturing order.
- Cost price
- The cost price to be used to calculate product costing to parent item. Note: This cost price is only valid to set for items with item type 3 or 4.
- Cost unit
- The unit used to define the cost price.
- Amount TL
- The amount this level for sub-assembly item. The amount is presented in system currency for one parent item unit.
- Amount LL
- The amount lower levels for sub-assembly item. The amount is presented in system currency for one parent item unit.
- Total amount
- The calculated cost for actual component.
