Service order/Service quotation enquiry, Service order/quotation jobs (DSR12401)

This panel displays the service order/quotation jobs.

Options

Lines Select this option to view the line(s) for a service job.
Job text Select this option to view the job text for a service job.
Action text Select this option to view the action text for a service job.
Time text Select this option to view the time transaction text related to a selected service order job for which an engineer has reported time.
Time trans Select this option to access the Time transactions enquiry to view the time transactions for the service job.
Recommended kit Select this option to access the Recommended kit enquiry to view the recommended kits for a service job.

Display reporting currency View the amount(s) in system currency and reporting currency. Note: Only displayed if a reporting currency is defined in Work with companies and if it has a fixed exchange rate, i.e. Fixed exchange rate is set to YES in Work with currencies for this currency.
Profit/SVC item group View the service order profits by service item group.
Addresses View the order addresses.
Order header View the order header.
Total/SVC item group View the service order totals by service item group.

Customer
Displays your customer’s name and number.
Order value/Quote value
Displays the total value of the order lines/quotation lines, after deduction of order header discount/quotation header discount, and including VAT (if applicable). Free-of-charge order lines/quotation lines are not included.

Note: This field cannot display amounts greater than 9999999999,999. If the amount exceeds this value, this field will display the last 10 digits of the amount.

Order number/Quote number
Displays the order number/quotation number and any version.
Credit limit
Indicates your customer’s credit limit. This amount is established in the Credit limit field of the Business partner file, A/R basic data panel.
Balance
Indicates your customer’s total sales order/quotation balance (in system currency).

Note: If the debtor is not your customer, then the value displayed in this field represents the debtor’s total balance and not the customer’s.

This field is highlighted if the credit limit is exceeded. An authorised employee must then take necessary actions to release it for further processing.

Note: This field cannot display amounts greater than 9999999999,999. If the amount exceeds this value, then only the last 10 digits will be displayed.

Note: Only the displayed value will be truncated. The full amount will be correctly updated to the database.

Job
This column displays the job number within the order.
Item
This column displays the item number on the job if service object is defined as mandatory on the order type (Object handling). Otherwise, this column is blank.
Serial number
This column displays the serial number on the job. This column is blank if serial number is defined as optional on the order type (Object handling).
P
This column displays a priority code from the Sales order type table indicating the priority of the job. Valid codes are 1-9, where 1 is the highest priority.
Req date
This column displays the requested service date.
Requested service time
This column displays the requested service time.
Item/Description
This column displays the item code and description concatenated.
Description
This column displays the item description-
Engineer
This column displays the engineer responsible for performing the job.
Name of engineer
This column displays the name of the job engineer.
Recommended kit
This column displays a code from Work with recommended kits denoting the action that needs to be taken for the job.
Agreement
This column displays the service agreement connected to the job object, if such an agreement exists.
Closed
This column denotes if the service job has been closed.
Order status
This column displays the order status.
Calling date
This column displays the date when the customer contacted your company requiring the service job.
Calling time
This column displays the time when the customer contacted your company requiring the service job.
Warranty
This column displays the supplier warranty code, if such a code exists.
Location
This column displays the location of the job.
Order type
This column displays the order type of the job.
Response time
This column only applies for agreement orders. The response time denotes within which time span your company has promised to reply the customer as defined for the object in the Agreement file.
Completion time
This column only applies for agreement orders. The completion time denotes within which time span your company has promised to complete the servicing of the object as defined in the Agreement file.
Service code 1-4
The lead texts for these four columns depend on the text defined for the corresponding service code in the Service codes table. Each activated column lists the applicable service code denoting the type of work that needs to be done on the related object.

This panel displays the service order/quotation job header information.

Job
Displays the service order job number.
Object handling
Indicates how the service object should be handled in the Service order job.
Object
Displays the object to be serviced or has been serviced and the serial number.
Location
Indicates the location of the object (if one is defined in the Service object file).
Meas read
Indicates the measurement type(s). This value is retrieved from the Item file for the object. The lead text can display up to four measurement types and for each of the types one output field is also displayed.
Job priority
Displays a priority code from the Sales order type table denoting the priority of the job.
Agreement
Displays the agreement to which the object is connected in the Agreement file (if an agreement is valid, i.e., has not expired).
Service code 1-4
The lead texts for these four fields depend on the text defined for the corresponding service code in the Service code table. Whether this field is displayed or not is controlled by the entry in Protect in Work with sales order types.
Req SVC time
Displays the requested service date and time.
Calling time
Displays the date and the time when the customer contacted your company requiring the service job.
SVC time
Displays the service date and time when the service job was performed.
Resp time
This field only applies for agreement orders. The response time indicates within which time span your company has promised to reply the customer as defined for the object in the Agreement file.
Compl time
This field only applies for agreement orders. The completion time indicates within which time span your company has promised to complete the servicing of the object as defined in the Agreement file.
Debit code
The debit code which is retrieved from the Debit code table indicates that the order line is internal.
Warr type
Displays the warranty type that the object is connected to in the Service object file (if any warranty is currently being valid).
Engineer
Displays a code from the Service engineer table denoting the engineer responsible for this job.
Rec kit
Displays a code from the Recommended kit table denoting the spare parts (items) to be created on order lines on this order.
Est job val
The estimated job value, in system currency, is automatically calculated when service order lines are created from a recommended kit (defined on this panel).
