Copy a sales quotation to a contract

Prerequisites

  • Only quotations of type 2 can be copied to a contract.
  • You will need the number of your type 2 quotation and the version number (if it is available).
  1. Select the Copy sales quotation to contract menu item.
  2. You access Sales quotation to contract copy. Enter the quotation number that you want to copy, together with the version number (if available) and click OK.
  3. The system automatically creates the contract in the Customer contract file. Normally there would be no need to maintain the contract, since the customer has agreed to the price. If you must and have the authority to do so, then revise it via the Work with customer contracts. See About setting up customer contracts for instructions.
